Not updated for CUSTOM MODULES yet

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by. I haven’t updated this post yet to accommodate front-end accessibility. I’m working on it and hope to have it updated soon.

I love the blurb module. It’s great, it’s versatile but sometimes I wish the entire blurb was clickable. The current blurb module has a clickable title and image. With this new module, yes that’s right, you will have a new module available in your Divi Library called “Clickable Blurb.”

And this is an example of what the blurbs look like….just like your other blurbs but the entire thing is clickable!

The Code

As always, you can find the files on github.  The first thing we are going to do is create a new file for our custom modules folder. The file is going to be creatively called, clickable_blurb.php. In this file we are going to add our custom module data. The real changes happen around line 401 with the addition of a wrapper. I also had to remove the href on the title and the image. Otherwise, you were trying to nest anchor tags and that just doesn’t work.

Once we have our module added, we need to call it from our functions file:

So, that’s it. Another module in your Divi Library of Awesome. Have questions? Leave them below and I will do my best to answer them.
